I’m using this weeks Cee’s colour challenge to look at some peach and apricot-coloured semi-precious stone beads.
Peach Feldspar (flat rounds streaked with smoky brown as well as the solid-coloured peach rounds), Light Peach Aventurine (semi-translucent faceted rounds) and Peach Moonstone (translucent disks) contrast nicely with rich brown beads such as this faceted Smoky Quartz.
This Peach and Blackberry Sorbet necklace contains the streaky Feldspar and Light Peach Aventurine from the above image, along with sterling silver and dark brown pearls. The centre bead is Picture Jasper, which comes in many earthy colour variations and patterns.
This necklace uses the peach Moonstone and solid peach Feldspar rounds from the top image, and mixes it up with ‘peach’ Aventurine (which to my mind should really be called ‘apricot’) and Unakite, a green granite with peach markings. More of Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Peach or Apricot
Great jewelry for this week’s challenge. Thanks for playing. 😀
