Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Banana Palm Leaves

Several almost abstract shots of banana palm leaves, as well as the two paintings they inspired.

Ironically all of these banana palm leaves have been photographed in Vancouver. In tropical countries the leaves tend to get a bit ratty, but in Vancouver they go into hibernation in the winter with pristine leaves emerging in the spring.
