One Four Challenge November Week 4: Madrid Lamp Standards

Stackables photo app seems to be the best choice for producing an variety of monochrome looks, but there is such a range of ‘formulas’, often only vaguely different, that I often ended up confused about which to select.

In the end I chose three, all from Stackables.

Stackables ‘Tintype’ formula. This formula only works if there’s something of interest in the centre but when it works I really like moodiness in the resulting image.

I like this for its sharpness, and the fact that it’s essentially the opposite effect to ‘Tintype’.The Madrid lamps in Stackables using the formula Hide and SeekStackables ‘Frozen Souls’ formula needed some slight modifications, but produced this lovely wintery image.

And now for the monthly round-up.

  1. You have created such interesting and artistic variations with Stackables, I love these three from this week too!

  2. Very interesting take having a challenge within the challenge. I think you probably learned quite a bit about what you like and which filters work with different types of photos over the last few months. I ended up voting for Sienna as well, I really like the orange-yellow/blue of that edit. I also liked the grey-blue and details created from the Hide-n-Seek this week. 😀
