Since I’m experimenting with the ‘Texture of Winter’ on this month’s One Four Challenge, I thought I’d play with some chilly textures for Cee’s ‘Cold’ Challenge.
This first set of snowy trees was taken at Silver Star on a too-cold-for-me day!Getting even colder….
Snow-laden Dr. Seuss trees at the top of the mountain.
This next set was shot through the car window as we were driving past and they all have a curious aqua tint to them. This image has no adjustment done to it.
This one has Photoshop’s ‘Auto Contrast’ applied.
Photoshop’s ‘Auto Tone’ adjustment applied; turning it maybe too warm?
Photoshop’s ‘Auto Color’ adjustment warmed up the image way too much.
‘Auto Contrast’ and ‘Auto Tone’ applied.
‘Auto Color’ has turned this image into black and white.

All your trees are way to cold for me, especially your first photo is awesome.
-8°C and sunny; even though I was dressed for it I’m not really one for ‘cold’ holidays and spent most of my time longing for the hot tub at the end of the day!
