There’s something about tiger lilies that always makes me think of wild jubilant dancing.

I made up a magazine collage of the image and somehow ended up with spear throwers which reminded me of the leaves.
Here are some oil pastel, pencil and India ink drawings that were inspired by my magazine collage, all 30″ x 22″.
And the final painting, acrylic on masonite with watercolour paper collage, 48″ x 26″.
