A couple of years ago I was testing out my new Olympus Stylus TG3 ‘Super’ Macro, along with an in-camera filter called ‘Pop’.
Macro POP! of the Coral Bell flower bud.
Teeny tiny flowers on my purple smoke tree.
Immature flower on my sea holly.
Heleanthemum nummularium, a rock garden trailer. In reality this flower is about an inch in diameter.
A purple Brazilian Princess Flower (Tibouchina), also looking very different than it does in real life, although in this case it had a bit of help from the ‘colour pop’ filter on my camera.
- I did a bunch of non-POP! super macros as well on Taking Macros of Flowers and Buds.
- This camera also had a ‘Drama’ filter which I tested on my baby pineapple: Macros of my new baby pineapple — my old camera vs my new camera.
- I had a ton of fun with this camera but ultimately took it back to the store because all it did was fun stuff and I needed a camera I could use while travelling: Is My New Camera a One-Trick Pony?
- More of the K’lee and Dale’s Cosmic Challenge: Macro.
