Cosmic Challenge: The Periodic Table of the Elements

I tried to put together something on the four classical elements of air, water, fire and earth, but it took too much time.

So this is my ‘cheat’ post on the elements. I was designing a website for the University Chemistry Department playing around with the periodic table, with a little sneak reference to the departmental unit in the top right hand of the page.

The four elements affected by chemical disposal into the environment are soil, air, water and life/ecology. Unfortunately all I seem to have of the site were these downsized images meant to go in my portfolio site at a time when images really couldn’t be more than 50k or they would take forever to download.
