Hoi An: Boats in the river with a texture overlay

Adding Textures to Photos of Boats in Hoi An, Reworked

Participating in Robyn G’s One Four Challenge has taught me so much more about photo editing!

Now I find myself going back over my 6000 or so photos of my two month trip to Southeast Asia with different eyes, and re-editing a whole bunch of them. (Unh, thanks Robyn!) Of course, all this chews up a lot of time. Good thing I’m retired and the weather outside is frightful.

For January’s Challenge I used a photo of some Vietnamese boats and edited it four different ways. The last one, with a texture overlay, caused me to revisit my ‘How to add texture to a photo‘ post and seriously rework these images.
