Over 40 years ago I bought a big comfy chair from a little old lady for $20.
It moved with me every time I moved. In the process it got more and more tattered but it was expensive to reupholster and I always decided the money would be better spent on my travel addiction.
I did a couple of rough sketches of it for a children’s book. It was still in its prime here. The pillow fabric shredded and the foam stuffing turned to dust so that was replaced with an old pillow from somewhere else. It remained extraordinarily comfy until the end. This is the end, my friend. Nobody will take it now, even if it’s free. So sad…More of Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Furniture.
