For the Cee’s two-colour challenge I had wanted to do green and pink. But there were so many permutations of green and pink that I ended up retreating back to some mood boards I had started years ago but hadn’t finished. I focussed mostly on succulents and cacti for the grey-green and then add ‘rose’ markings and fruits for the ‘Rose’, and terracotta pots and walls for the ‘Terracotta’.
Grey-green and rose pink mood board. Grey-green and terracotta mood board – I think I’m still working on it.
I wanted to add in some non-plant based terracotta and grey-green but they didn’t work. One was this magnificently weathered grey-green door set in a terracotta wall in Guadalupe, Mexico.
This iguana on the Atlantic Coast of Mexico is catching a few rays.
