I love the gritty feel that Photoshop’s ‘Fresco’ filter gives these industrial images.

Great selection of pictures, Elizabeth, very creative. I was also looking at other areas in your blog, you are very talented, thank you for sharing your work with others!
Interesting effects. The filter makes the industrial photos look a little grungy, which is great if the industries were appropriate.
Very cool images Elizabeth – love the filter, hadn’t heard of it.
I have a very old version of Photoshop, I think it’s from 2010. But it has a few filters that I really love, like fresco and sumi-e.
Gritty, indeed. Sort of a ‘steam punk’ look. Functional, but corroded. Well done.
finding bits and pieces of the remains of old industrial sites is fun – and the fresco filter definitely deposits a load of grit onto the images…
That filter really adds an extra industrial feel to these images. It’s a great selection for the challenge this week! I like that composition in the Old Pipes and a Barrel image.
Even though I’m not crazy about Guinness beer the Guinness Storehouse was a delight to visit. Seeing an old brewery and all its wonderful equipment is quite an adventure.
